The Hirai Group was created with the founding of its parent company.
Hirai Oil Co., Ltd. in February 1952. The firm supplies petroleum products,
to retail
buyers and over 3,000 industrial firms. Products include kerosene, gas
soil, fuel
oil and many types of lubricant oil. The group is also engaged in car leasing
and
referral car sales, and is an agent for casualty and life insurance products.
Hirai oil
has a paid-up capital of 48 million yen. Its 100%-owned subsidiary, Hirai
Chemicals
Co., Ltd. supplies petrochemical and specialty environment-related products.
The Hirai Group team is over 130 strong, driving an annual turnover of
over 10
billion yen. Headquartered in Osaka City, the Hirai Group's key markets
are in west
and central Japan. Branch offices are located in Kyoto and Shiga Prefectures
in
central Japan, and local offices are in Shiga and Ikeda City, Osaka. The
group also
operates five petrol stations under the Idemitsu franchise, in the environs
of
Osaka: Sakuragawa, Nagata, Yao self, Yao Central Self, Takatsuki Self.
